Your generosity will be kindly receive^ Double Reason For Celebration Our very best wishes of the day to Mr. and Mrs. Jeppe Jepsen who will be observing their fifty-third wedding anniversary on Nov. 14. Also on the same day it will be celebrating time for their daughter and husband, the Harvey Palmers. They will observe anniversary number twenty-two. Many happy years in the future to tnese two couples from all of us. Wee One And "wee" is just the right word for the infant daughter of Phil and Jan Bartmann of Island Lake. This little one made her appearance two months ahead of schedule when she arrived at the McHenry hospital on Oct. 31. A light 3 lbs. 12 oz. is what she weighed at birth. Patricia Janice is the name chosen for the new Bartmann addition. She has a brother, Jeff, who is one year old. Gerry and Marcella Wakitsch are very proud of their first granddaughter. A watchful eye will be kept on little Patricia at a Peoria hospital which specializes in the care of premature babies, for the next few weeks. She was taken there a day or so after bi^th. Congratulation^ to all. Dinner-Dance Complete Success Once again the Johnsburg Community Club had a "hit on their hands". The club sponsored their third annual dinner-dance last Saturday evening and it was a tremendous success. The entire affair was planned just perfectly. One of the main reasons this club has such success with their endeavors is Wednesday' November 10* 1965 ^ • . . * \ due to "^'togetherness" of the workers. At this party last Saturday evening all the workers donated their time and effort. Believe me they turned out in mass form too. All the delicious pies for the evening's dinner were home-baked by the members' wives and donated also. Many other organizations can take note from the Johnsburg Community Club as to how to work as well as play together. Sad News Received Bill and Lorraine Rutzen were in Chicago and later Arlington, Va., last week to attend the funeral services of his brother-in-law. In attendance from the high court were High Chief Ranger, Lucy Domino, of Rockford and Trustee Angeline Mauer of Aurora. Other chief rangers and representatives were from St. Margaret. Mary and St. Stephana courts in Aurora, St. Clara court in McHenry, St. Josephine court in Elgin, St. Anthony court in Rockford and St. Agatha court in Johnsburg. The association president, Virginia Pitzen, end the secretary, Dorothy Hughes, are both members of our local court. Other St. Agatha court members attending were Catherine Dehn, Evelyn Diedrich, Andrea Oeffling and Ardele Conway. Luncheon was served preceding the meeting. At the regular meeting of St. Agatha court No. 77, Nov. 16 a memorial service will be conducted for the deceased members and chaplains of the court. Committee for the evening are Lou LaBay, Mary B. Schmitt, Regina Michels, Lorraine Rutzen, Alma Freund, Barbara Smith and Emma Kattner. All members are cordially invited to attend this meeting on Tuesday evening in the community club hall beginning at 8 pjn. Detroit Bound Mrs. Anna Guyser and her son, Eddie Ray, made a trip to Detroit earlier this week to attend the funeral of her brother - in - law, Tom Guyser. They expect to return about Thursday. Fifth Granuson Welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Emil Debrecht of Hillcrest Place became grandparents for the sixth time recently. Their son, Gene, and his wife, Lynne, welcomed their third son. Mrs. Debrecht has been in . the city giving a helping hand until Lynne is back on her feet. The other family members journeyed in there last Sunday to attend the baptismal celebration. Attends Funeral In Chicago Our heartfelt sympathies to Dorothy Himpelmann and her family upon the recent death of her father-in-law. Funeral services for Mr. Himpelmann were conducted in the city on Oct. 27. I^ave Himpelmann came home from his studies in Ohio to attend his grandfather's funeral.
