S : Officers and members of the Ojflloitt-Knoll Association are urged to attend the last meeting of the organization before the ice fishing derby to be held Saturday and Sun* day. Feb. 18 and 19. Brothers Injured Ib Into Crash Billy Anderson, 18, and his brother, Lee, 16, were passengers in an automobile last Saturday night which was involved in a collision with another car on Route 120 between Lakemoor and Volo, resulting in injuries for the two young men. They are the brothers of Mrs. Ken (Nancy) Loesch of Hickory Drive. . The driver of the one car- Bill Paul-- suffered severe brain injury and has been removed to a Chicago hospital. Billy Anderson, suffered shock, required stitches on his forehead, and also sustained a fractured shoulder, a broken nose, and cuts, and bruises. He and Lee were taken to McHenry hospital where Lee received stitches on one finger. The boys are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Anderson, 920 Front St., McHenry. of the accident appear elsewhere in the Plaindealer. •C.P. Drive tops Other Yean! In spite of the miserable weather, volunteers who collected for the Cerebral Palsy fund, topped all other years; Door to door collections totalled 1127 with containers placed in the business houses still to be counted. Last year's total was $122. Marie McKim headed the drive and made collections. Top collectors were Petey Schmidt with $14.75, Gerry Jensen, $13.40 and Marie HoJnacki turning in $12.50. Others who deserve commendation for making calls are Helen Streske, Betty Murray, Karen McKim, Bon ie Burg, DeeDee Levesque, Louise Matthesius, Kathy Smith, Kathy and Diane Klapperich, Ethel Brendle and Dorie Brennan. Verbal orchids to all in the community who gave so generously to help this worthy cause. Former Resident's Father Dies Thomas Christiansen, who turned 68 last week, died in a Chicago hospital suddenly Friday night. He was the father of Mrs. Dave (Lillian) Hansen, formerly of W. Parkview, and now residing in Mc- , Henry. Mr. Christiansen had not been feeling well for several weeks and the decision was to put him in the hospital, where; he died a few hours after being admitted. When Hansens lived here, Tom and his wife, Marie, who survives him, were frequent visitors and made man V i s i t o r s a n d mad e m a n y friends in the community. Visitation was held at the John Pedersen Chapel, N.W. side of Chicago, services were held yesterday (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. with interment in Irving Park cemtery. In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by four grandchildren --Mark, Janet, Guy, and Jill Hansen and one Sister, Mrs. Lillian Webb. a Second Leg Of ChampioaoMp For Pet Canine Ginny and Ted Hocin are glowing with happiness since Tracey, their one years old German Shepherd dog, woo the second leg of her championship last Sunday at the Milwaukee Kennel Club. The highest scoring animal made 197 points and Tracy came up with 194 out Of 1,500 entires! The Hoc ins plan to enter her in the International Dog Show in April to be held at the International Amphitheater, Chicago. This is the ree- ally big one! If she is successful, this event will make her a champion. For Sunday's event Trac received a silver oxydized medallion.
