GREETINGS TO MCHENRY FROM VIETNAM "This is Lance Corporal Jeff Levesque of McHenry and I wish everybody in McHenry, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, especially my mom and dad, sisters and brother, and Margie (Osborne)." This was the message aired on WGN radio, last Monday night about 11:30 p.m. The taped remarks were broadcast on the Sig Sakowicz program. The announcer recently returned from a three and a half week trip to Vietnam where he recorded the remarks from our boys over there. Late last week, our family received a memo from Mr. Sakowicz, stating, "Hi: Greetings from your loved one will be aired on WGN, 11:05 p.m., 1/13. Sig." There are not enough appropriate words to properly thank the gentleman for this valuable service which he is doing for fartiilies in the midwest. As late as the messages are being broadcast they are just as meaningful as if they had come during Christmas week. A most hearty THANK" YOU, Mr. Sakowicz. Our family was also very happy to welcome Jake home from Springfield where he had attended the inauguration of Gov. Ogilvie, Lt. Gov. Paul Simon, Attorney General Bill Scott and other elected state officials. -He came home just in time to hear his son's voice. Jake was accompanied by Anthony Varese; A1 Jourdan and John Licastro. This is in addition to the payment provisions for purchases, which are another expensive matter. Until you pay back the borrowed money according to the bank's requirements, you are incurring this extra service charge for the privilege of doing business "the modern way."
