Contributions can also be sent to the State Bank of Woodstock, with checks payable to the Easter Seal Therapy center. Robbie as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Noes, RidgeQeld. DON PEASLEY PHOTO "With the help of Robbie, we hope to call the public's attention to our Easter Sealf campaign now underway in McHenry county," Mrs. Bertil Dehlin, Crystal Lake, chairman, said this week. "Funds aid the crippled and handicapped, with the money used for physical therapy, yeararound speech therapy, summer swimming program, summer camp, and an extensive loan pool of equipment." Goal this year is $21,000, a vitally needed total since the Therapy center receives no federal, state, county or township tax money. The hplp given Robbie Noles is an inspiring example of the Therapy center's worth to citizens in this county. When Mrs. Noles brought Robbie to the center for the first time last November, she was fitted with bilateral long leg braces because she no longer had the strength and balance to move herself on her feet. She accepted the challenge quickly. Regular visits to the center have helped Robbie become able to move around on her feet, thanks to the therapist's skill and patience. Robbie has an older sister, Pam, 8, and an older brother, Rancfy, 7. Her father drives a big pneumatic tank truck which hauls cement. The 1969 Easter Seals drive continues through Easter Sunday on April 6. Mrs. Dehlin stresses that contributions in all sizes are welcome. The county-wide mailing will reach many citizens this week with a brief letter and a sheet of the olive green, brown and white Easter Seals. Those who don't receive a letter are invited to 2® ?0CK ALLCREDIT •""M.CARDS McHenry Market Place Boutfiiio MARCH 7, 8, 9 Book Fair -- St. Patrick's School -- Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 7-9 p.m. --Sunday after all Masses. Annual Corned Beef and Cab- Dinner -- Sponsored By .V The spring look for coats is fluid and unconfined -- opting for a casual shape that relies on important details. The new coats accomplish the most with interesting collars and pockets, belts and buttons -- and even a few pleated skirts. The choice of coats is wide, but the silhouette is narrowed, fitted and flared, notes the National Board of the Coat and Suit Industry. Mainly belted, some silhouettes depend on their inner shapings for the incurving waist and light flare. All in all, the lines fit with grace, giving coats the look of bulkless little dresses. "Spring underscores the message with collars high and side-fastened with only one button, lapeled or small and rounded. In general, except for the big rounded lapels, collars are small and trim. Because fashion says it with originality, there are other silhouettes in the offing for those who haven't done their waist-whittling exercises. One example flows straight from the shoulders'" with nothing but a high collar to interrupt the swing. Another is a trumpet look. The bathrobe coat sans buttons and tied with elegant ease appears to be a spring favorite^po. Colors afcri fabrics are an integral park of the coat picture. Fabrics are drapable and lightweight with enough body to hold that line. Lovely make a contribution -- from $1 to $25 or more will be gratefully accepted. This is the eighteenth year for the Therapy center, and volunteers help make it function effectively. This includes the Auxiliary, extra workers on the fund drive, and several who give their time to serve as office secretaries on a regular basis.
