Hours for registration are noon to 3 p.m. on the thir- New State Aid Claim Chart The School Problems commission has recommended a revision of the present state aid formula. The recommendation now goes to Governor Ogilvie and the Legislature for consideration. Attached is a printout showing the present state aid claims and projected claims with the resulting increase for each school district in McHenry county. These figures are based upon the 1966 assessed valuation and the average daily attendance of the best six months of 1967-68. In order for a school district to compute the actual state aid to be received in 1969-70, it would be necessary to project the computation on this printout, using up-to-Hate data and average daily membership instead of average daily attendance. DISTRICT PROJECTED CLAIM ANNUAL AMOUNT STATE AID OF CLAIM INCREASE WINTER BOWS OUT -- Scenes such as this may be making their last appearance as winter bows out. The photographer captured two youngsters putting finishing touches on their masterpieces -- an entire family of snow sculptures. The children are Jimmy Pepping, 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pepping, and Jean Rodenkirch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rodenkirch. Lest we plan on Spring arriving next year on March 21, let it be known that this photo was taken on the twenty-seventh of the month. JOY TURNS TO DESPAIR On her way to her daughter's bridal shower in Chicago, Theresa Schultz was stricken, and was admitted to St. Alexius hospital, Elk Grove Village, and is a patient in the intensive care unit of the fourth floor. The address is 800 Biesterfield, Elk Grove Village. Len Benson was taking his fiancee, Lynne, her mother, his mother, Mrs. Gordon Benson, and his grandmother, Mrs. Elm Schurring of Huntley, to the afternoon affair when Mrs. Schultz became ill. Because of her surgical history, they deemed it best to seek immediate medical aid. Lynne's relatives including several of us from this area, received the word in Chicago. Attending the event given by Mrs. Hugh McCauley were Marge and Sally Olsen, young Margie and DeeDee in my car, Mrs. Shirley Olsen, her daughter, Mrs. Kaaren Gies, and Shirley's daughters, Taina and Lisa, in the Art Olsen car. Jake Levesque notified Will Schultz and drove him to the hospital. When we all arrived On the scene, we were very much relieved to find that Theresa's condition had improved vastly. As of Monday evening, the out-' look was very favorable. THE WELCOME MAT IS SPREAD For Ann and Jim Holden who arrived on our scene from Cooney Heights. Their family included young Jim who turned 12, March 17, Joseph who was 11, March 22, Pamela, 9 and young Jeff, 5. At least two little leaguers, in this group!
