Justen of Santa Maria, Calif., was among rtudents who recently sailed from Los Angeles Harbor aboard the S.S. Ryndam on Chapman college's World Campus Afloat. The young man is the grandson of Mrs. Julia Justen of McHenry. who has just returned after spending three months with her son and family. The 112-day voyage will visit Hawaii, Yokahama, Kobe, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Port Swettenham, Colombo, Bombay, Mombasa, Dar ES Salaam, Cape Town, Dakar, Casablanca, Cadiz and Lisbon, returning to New York May 27. Justen, a 1967 graduate of Santa Maria high school, has been attending Sacramento State college. Regular college classes meet on board ship six days a week while at sea, providing the same number of classroom contact hours as on land in a sixteenweek semester. Donald P. Doherty Mayor YMCA MOVES TO NEW LOCATION NEXT SUNDAY The Lake Region YMCA will be located in its new offices at 95 N. Grant street, Crystal Lake, after April 27. The new facilities have been obtained because of the need for additional space in which to conduct a variety of activities. A suite of three offices for YMCA staff members has been rented. In addition, there are presently three larger areas which are available to the YMCA as meeting rooms. The new location has just been completely remodeled and is extremely modern and attractive. The YMCA telephone number will remain the same. A quick peek at the participation figures in YMCA spring programs is further evidence as to why the new facilities were badly needed. Present figures show a: total enrollment of 864 boys, girls, men and women who are currently engaged in YMCA programs. This is an increase of 127 persons over the same time period in 1968, when there were 727 participants. Hecht, county realtor, has returned to the operation of the Wilbert Hecht real estate firm, which he started in 1963 after being associated with two other Crystal Lake real estate firms. He started his business in 1955 with a McHenry firm. He spent the year 1968 in association with two of the city's leading real estate offices, and during that time called together ten local firms to start the McHenry Exclusive Listing Service. Ogilvie turned over ownership of the 6,800 acre site for the National Accelerator laboratory to the U.S. Atomic Energy commission at a civic luncheon April 10 in Chicago.
