Snell, 4305 W. Ponca street, McHenry, was assigned March 21 to the 32nd Artillery in Vietnam, as a cannoneer. The Seekers made their debut five years ago and^much has happened to the popular group from the moment of their first appearance to the release of their latest album, Live! Bruce wrote songs culminating in the beautiful Angeline; Keith acquired a 12- string guitar to add to their instrumentation and Athol became adept at witty back chat to hecklers out front and Judith is rag-time pianist and soloist. . .Numbers done in Live (from Talk of the Town) include Music of the World A Turnin', I'll Never Find Another You, With My Swag All On My Shoulder, We Shall Not Be Moved, Morningtown Ride and A World of Our Own, on one side and Rattler, The Olive Tree, Love Is Kind, Love Is Wine, TTie Carnival Is Over and Georgy Girl on the flip side. A group called The Stained Glass has come up with a rather wild one called Crazy Horse Roads . . . Don't let the gruesome cover (three of them hanging from a tree limb) deter you -- it's really a pretty good LP . . . Songs include I Sing You Sing, Finger Painting, Soap and Turkey, Twiddle My Thumbs, F a h r e n h e i t , Nightcap, Horse On Me, Two Make One, Light Down Below, Piggy Back Ride and Doomsday. American violinist prodigy Yehudi Menuhin has never ceased to amaze the musical public with his constant growth and development since his San Francisco concert debut at the age of seven. . .The pinnacle of his art as a virtuoso may be represented by his Beethoven C o n c e r t o with the g r e a t Klemperer. . .The two Brahms works are among his best in the self-effacing realm of chamber music and his more recently cultivated skills as a conductor shine forth in his lively performance of a specially prep a r e d , a u t h e n t i c a l l y Baroque Water Music.
