In France, brouhaha means hullabaloo, uproar or hubub. In McHenry, Brouhaha means a total California look in junior and petite sizes at moderate prices. Thejiew store opens for business on Friday, May 23, but on Thursday evening, May 22, from 7 p.m until 10p.m., Brouhaha will hold open house to introduce the store, the staff and the fashions to the public. Allan Leibsohn, president of Brouhaha Limited, notes that the new shop has already created much interest in McHenry. Job applicants began coming in even before the shop advertised for help, he said, and he's been deluged with inquiries about the opening date. 0SRITAL Iflo&U "Brouhaha will offer the shopper a total look," he continued, "which is also unique among boutique-type shops in this area. A woman will be able to shop Brouhaha and come away completely outfitted in shoes, sportswear, part/wear, outerwear, jewelry and other accessories", explained Leibsohn. "And finally, our presentation is like nothing you've seen before. The lighting, the carpeting, the racks and display areas, the textures and the colors were all chosen to create a completely new and exciting showcase for fashion. "Better than trying to describe it, though, is to have the public to see for itself. That's why we're having the open house Thursday evening, May 22. Everyone's invited. There will be no sellingthat night...just browsing from 7 p.m. until 10p.m." The store is located at 1220 N. Green street.
