Howlett, Secretary of State, has an­ nounced. , Under the new schedule, all eighty-nine downstate stations will be open Tuesday through Saturday instead of Monday through Friday. Hours will be from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All stations also will remain open every Wed­ nesday night until 8 p.m. for written driving exams. The new program will not include twenty-six downstate locations which were extended limited service last fall. These facilities are open from one to three days a week in a location provided by the community. Nor does it include the Secretary of State service facilities in Cook county that are currently open five nights a week until 8 p.m. "The new schedule will benefit thousands of drivers throughout the state at no extra cost," Howlett said. "Saturday hours will enable many citizens to take exams during their free time instead of taking time off from their jobs during the week." Winterized Camp Facility Now Available A special place to get away from it all is now available on a year-round basis, announces Dave Plocher Extension ad­ viser, McHenry county. Graham Hall is a recently winterized facility at Shaw- waw-nas-see 4-H camp, located in Kankakee county. Graham hall, featuring a pleasant meeting room, cooking facilities, and bedrooms, can comfortably accommodate small groups. It is available to any group throughout the year for one-day, weekend, or week- long programs. The scenic, wooded, outdoor camp setting is ideal for retreats, meetings, reunions, outings, picnics, or field trips, says Plocher. The camp has many hiking trails, an open-air recreation shelter, rifle range, and campfire sites. Summer facilities include cabins and dining room for 300, swimming pool, and flexible programming to meet almost any needs.
