STYLE SHOW The style show put on by the Christian Women's club last Wednesday was of bridal gowns. It so happens that three of the wedding gowns were from the Low family. The first dress modeled by Sue Erwin belonged to her great, great, great, grandmother Low. It was brought from India to Scotland by the bride's brother. This dress has been in the family for about 125 years. The second dress belonging to Mrs. Annie Allen's grandmother and was a black satin dress worn to her son's wedding. Mrs. Allen wore this dress to her own wedding reception 50 years ago. It is about 84 years old and was modeled by Patti Miller. The third dress belonged to Mrs. Walter Low and modeled by her daughter, Linda Billikas. 'Twas a very beautiful day and Mrs. Allen was thrilled to get to be in the audience to see these, family dresses modeled by her great nieces. OOPS! Missed this little item of interest last week so will let you all know that Mr. and Mrs. Earl Betts, Jr., and sons attended a family get-together a week ago this weekend at Jelly Stone Park near Ft. HAWAII VACATION Your reporter is a little late covering this story but we are happy to report that Ila Hogan and Carol Sima had a mar velous trip to Hawaii. They visited Carol's step-daughter and borrowed her car to do quite a bit Of sightseeing off the beaten path of the tourist trade. Ila said the thing that im pressed her so was to look up at the mountains in the day and see nothing but green trees and undergrowth and then look at the same scene at night and see all the lights shining out from homes and buildings that were hidden in the day. Looked like a regular Christmas tree. They visited Pearl Harbor and Polynesian Village, also at tended a luau at which the entertainment was emceed by Doug Mossman who has ap peared on Hawaiian Eye and The Little People. They also happened upon the scene when two different T.V. shows were filming outdoor scenes. Upon their retvirn to the mainland, they did some sightseeing in San Francisco visiting Fisherman's Wharf and riding the cable cars.
