The farms, formerly known as the famous Hickory Creek Holstein farms, were pur chased by Northern Pump company in 1953. The Hereford cattle were moved here from a ranch located near Colorado Springs and from the Mill Iron ranch in Texas. Hereford cattle from Nor- tiiern Pump farms have been sold to eighteen states, Canada, Mexico, West Germany, Austria and Japan. Many people interested in beef cattle from the United States, as well QS foreign countries, have visited the farms.
