Cowlin, state's attorney of McHenry county, Tuesday announced that he will seek reelection as state's at­ torney in the 1976 election on the Republican ballot. Cowlin has served as state's attorney for McHenry county since 1968 and prior to thaU was an assistant state's attorney and was active in private practice in Crystal Lake. Seeks 5th Term > R. BRUCE WADDELL State Rep. R. Bruce Waddell (R-Dundee) has announced that he will seek reelection next year to a fifth term in the Illinois Legislature from the 33rd district. The Kane county Republican, who was first appointed to fill the seat left vacant by the death of JacMlill in 1968, has been reelected for every two-year term since. Hanahan, D- McHenry announced that he will seek re-nomination and re­ election to his seventh term in the House of Representatives of the Illinois General Assembly. CANDIDATE State Senator Harris W. Fawell (R-Naperville) has announced that he will seek the Republican nomination for judge of the Illinois Supreme court in the Second Judicial district, which includes McHenry county. Save Our Suburbs Head To Address County Meeting Mrs. Adeline Dropka, president of Save Our Suburbs, will speak Thursday, Dec. 11, following a short business meeting of the McHenry County American party at 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Old Towne hall, 54 Brink in Crystal Lake. The topic of Mrs. Dropka's address will be "1984 in 1976?" Mrs. Dropka is a housewife, mother, and grandmother now residing in Brookfield. In addition to being president of Save Our Suburbs, Mrs. Dropka is vice-president of the West Suburban Property Owners and Taxpayers! association and editor of Save Our Suburbs newsletter. Mrs. Dropka and Save Our Suburbs led a fight against the adoption of the 1970 Illinois constitution. The constitution was adopted by a vote of only 19. percent of the registered voters in Illinois. They also were among the leaders in the fight against RTA which was soundly defeated in the five suburban counties. „ All citizens of McHenry and neighboring counties are in­ vited to attend this meeting of the American Party and hear Mrs. Dropka's message.
