Inc., Strasburg, Virginia When someone says, "It's for you," our minds begin to buzz with questions. Who is it? What do they want? Good News? Bad News? Work? Pleasure? It's for you! Commanding words that summon our immediate attention. And those words apply as well to the Church as they do to a telephone call. The Church is for you! Its services of worship, its program of religious education, its comforting ministration in time of spiritual crisis ... all for you! And the Church has a vital message -- good news for a discouraged world. It has a glorious work before it -- a happy fellowship for men, women and children of noble pur pose. The Church deserves your support. It's for you! •> Scriptures Selected By The American Bible Society Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Isaiah Isaiah Mark Mark Matthew 2:2-4 28:16-20 1:1*4 1:9-12 3:7-10 K02S Friday Saturday Isaiah Luke 55:6-9 19:41-44 wmmmm m First United Methodist Church 3717 West Main Street Church phone 385-0931 Ralph Smith, Pastor Parsonage Phone: 385-1352 Worship: 9:30a.m. and 11:00a.m. Church School: 11:00 a.m. Church of God Greenleaf Ave at Fairfield Dr Island Lake School jrvices: Sunday School-IOA.M Church Service - 11 a.m. Evangelistic Service - 7p.m. Telephone:312-526-8056 St. Peter's Catholic Church Spring Grove, Illinois Rev. Ricky visited his Aunt Lil and Uncle Frank and Candida was with Grand ma and Grandpa Bounds in Wonder Lake while mommie was at the hospital. Proud maternal Grandma is Edith Harrison also of Wonder Lake. LADIES "500" CARD CLUB Hostess for the Ladies "500" Card Club was Mae Wiedrich in the home of Flora Carr. Jean Lay was the gal with the cards this time as she came up with high score for the day. Arlene Pearson must have been the gal doing the most visiting as she went home with low score for the day. But really the high or low score isn't the only reason that these gals get together to play cards, they enjoy each other's company too. Clarence R. Hart M.D. F.A.C.S.
