YOUTH SUSPENDED FOR ARSON AT EAST CAMPUS (Continued from page 1) fire was also discored in a locker in the same area. There was minimal damage to the structure and fireman listed arson as the probable cause of the blaze. The city police were asked to investigate the incident, and also the fact that additional fire alarms had been sounded at the school during the past several weeks when there was no fire. Detective Gary Wigman stated. "On Feb. 7, several teachers and students were interviewed by the city police regarding the fire, resulting in the development of a suspect." Later that same day, a fifteen year-old McHenry youth was questioned and found to be responsible for the fires. Freshman Registration Set At Marian Central Marian Central Catholic high school will hold registration for its freshman class of 1978 Sunday, Feb. 12. Registration will occur in the school gym­ nasium between 10 a m and 4 p.m Registration packets have been mailed to the families of prospective eighth grade students throughout the county. Included in this material was information regarding general course offerings, the freshman course descriptions, data regarding tuition, fees, books and uniforms. Lynn Lund, who is the regular weekly teacher for the class, provided brunch for the students at her home. The day was spent enjoying outdoor and indoor winter activities. This annual occasion is one of the winter highlights of the class which meets weekly to discuss Bible history and how the truths of the Bible affect daily living. McHenry police responded to a call at the Foxes Run Pub on Green street, and observed two men fighting on the sidewalk on the north side of the building just minutes before midnight. Officers O'Meara, Donahue and Langdon restrained the men, who were both injured. Kip Novotny, 5515 N. Wilmot road, Johnsburg, and Ronald Fernstrom. 4115 W. Waukegan road, McHenry, were taken to McHenry hospital by the McHenry Rescue squad for treatment of facial injuries. Novotny suffered a broken nose and Fernstrom suffered facial lacerations.
