Aug 27. Bogdon has rescheduled the show for Saturday. Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. at Christ the King hall, promising a never-before-seen, bigger than ever, exciting magical performance Even though the show was cancelled, the people of Wonder Lake used the day to honor their most important person of 1978. Tony Zidek. this year's National Easter Seal poster child. Acting as master of ceremonies. Ron Taylor in­ troduced Walter Miller, President of the Master Property Owners association (MPOA); Les Carlson. Vice- president of the MPOA and Mary Brannberg. organizer of the Magic Show and big day for Tony Checks in the amount of $1,080 each were presented; one to Cheryl Van Zandt, executive director of the Easter Seal Therapy center in Woodstock, and one to Tony and his mom. Janice, to be used for Tony's future needs This money has been earned through efforts of the MPOA during the past months, with still more funds expected after the magic show performance Tony and his mom expressed appreciation for the kindness and generosity of everyone and their great pride in their home town. Wonder Lake BOAT TRIP The Wonder Lake Young at Hearts spent Tuesday. Aug 29. taking a delightful boat trip around Lake Geneva It was a beautiful, though slightly windy, day aboard the Polaris '. A highlight of the trip was a delicious luncheon served on board The Young at Hearts meet again on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Christ the King hall. Tranel, pastor of Christ the King, in preparation of parents in the sacramental programs of the parish. Registration for C C D. at Christ the King will be after all Masses on Sept. 9 nd 10 at the Religion Center. Volunteers are needed for teachers, aides, typists, babysitters and in general for the coming school year. High school seniors graduating in January or June, 1979, can volunteer for guaranteed training in the United States Air Force now, and report to regular active duty following graduation, according to the northern Illinois area recruiting service. Thf Air Force's Delayed Enlistment program, which allows a person to be enlisted against a future opening, has been extended to twelve months thus allowing 1979 high school graduates to reserve an opening in their chosen field well in advance of graduation. Persons desiring to reserve a position on the aerospace team are urged to contact their local Air Force recuriter. Johnsburg Mary L.
