Just wait a few more years till Adam wants to invite 10 of his little friends, then a hall will have to be rented for the occasion. 23RD ANNIVERSARY On Feb. 16 Wayne & Mary Ann Dettmer celebrated their 23rd anniversary. Mary Ann's sister and brother-in-law Helen & Jim Knowlton and close friends Van & Lorraine Sobon of Mundelein treated them to dinner at the Dover Straight in Mundelein. After dinner they went to the Knowltons for an evening of cards. Wayne surprised Mary Ann with a necklace made of beautiful blue stones shaped like a cluster of grapes. Also Herb, your Mom says you can pick up Satch any time now. BELATED GREETINGS Because the date book was changing hands we missed some birthdays and an niversaries last week. The date book is rather worn so I plan to start a new one. There are a lot of new homes in our subdivision, which means new families, please call me soon to be added to the list. I've also noticed many new babys and would like to remember them on their first birthdays. LAST COLUMN This is the last column 'by Sharon Gacek' and it's ironic that my typewriter decided to call it quits, too. I guess it also needs a well-deserved rest after four years. My friends, relatives and many residents helped with contributions to this column and I could count on them when needed. This really isn't goodbye forever, it's just a parting for awhile, and as we prepare for Easter, God Love Ya!
