GREAT GRANDPARENTS Clare and Eleanor Haerle are proud as a peacock since they became great grand parents of a little boy. The baby was born June 25 to Robert and Jan Matthews in Maryland. When Eleanor called with the news she didn't know the particulars, such as the baby's name, weight, etc., and I don't have her phone number, so I couldn't call back to find them out as I write this. Eleanor Slso has another reason to be very proud. She is honored to have been chosen to be president of the ladies of the Lion's club in McHenry. We wish her luck and success in her new position. Lin Dentro had a rather interesting vacation this year-nothing went right for her. It started with her car breaking down halfway to Crystal Lake the first night and everything was downhill the rest of the week. The one and only good thing was when she took Jeanette to Great America with the Wallace family; Mike, Sue, Craig and Kim on Tuesday. The next .day was spent at the doctor's where she found out the bumps all over her arms and legfc was an allergic reaction to the sun. This meant the rest of her vacation was spent in doors, out of the sun. I think this was the first lime Lin was glad to get back to work. SURPRISE Ronnie Nystrom got a real shock when wife Marilyn decided to add a little spice in his life. While Ron was busy at work in Wheeling a belly dancer came in to entertain v him and anyone else who was lucky enough to be nearby. Now that's what I think most men will agree is a most enjoyable coffee break.*~ r HELP!! July seems to be the most popular month for vacations, so be sure to call me when you arrive home and tell me where your family has been. It should be interesting to hear who has travelled the farthest, as long as we don't have to sit through the home movies. If you don't call me, I'll never know you've been gone so I'll be looking for ward to your call. HAPP1*BIRTHDAY .... o Terry Miller, Tommy Gerambio and James Allen Knaack on July 9.
