N V Deaths ANNA M. HANSON Anna M. Hanson, 88, of McHenry, and formerly of Chicago, died July 10 at Memorial hospital, Wood­ stock. She was born April 22, 1892, in Chicago, the daughter of William and Mary Hansen. Her fe husband, Earl C.Hanson, preceded her in death Sept. 12, 1971. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Marie) Larkin and Mrs. Marion Hocker, sons Park, and Roy W. of LaVerne, Calif.; eight grandchildren and seven­ teen great-grandchildren. There was visitation on Sunday from 2 until 9 p.m. at the Peter M. Jus ten and Son funeral home, where last rites were conducted by William H. She was born in Evanston, Sept. 20, 1895, the daughter of Christian and Mary Elizabeth (Cocayne) Crook. The deceased had lived in the Ringwood area for 30 years. Her only survivors are two grandsons, Guy and Mike Winters of Ringwood and one granddaughter, Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) McMasters of Burlington, Wis. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles F. Heppner in 1937; two daughters, Mrs. Marion E. Winters and Mrs. Dorothy Frisby. Visitation was held on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home where funeral services were conductecPat 10 a.m. Tuesday morning by the Rev. Gordon Smith of the Ringwood United Methodist church with burial in Memorial Park, Skokie. j STANLEY A. TOBIAS Stanley A,. Tobias, 86, 8517 W. Sunset drive, Wonder Lake, died Friday, July U, in Memorial hospital for McHenry county, Wood­ stock. He wap born Oct. 15, 1893, in Chicago, to Adam and Josephine Tobias. A resident of Wonder Lake for 15 years, Mr. ToDias was a member of Christ the King Catholic church; had worked as a janitor 38 years in « Chicago; and was a member of Janitorial Union No. 1. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Elizabeth) Booth of Wonder Lake; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Marie Lipinski and a brother, Joseph, both of Chicago. A funeral Mass was conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King church, with Father Tranel of­ ficiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. in the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, with a Christian Wake service at 7:30. Memorials are requested to the Wonder Lake Rescue Squad Paramedic program. ALEXANDER HARDT A former resident of 59 Rollins road, Fox Lake, Alexander Hardt died Sunday, July 13, at his residence. He was 65 years old, born March 29, 1915, in Chicago. Mr. Hardt had been a resident of Fox Lake the past 20 yfears, formerly of Chicago. He was employed at Safety Socket Screw Corp. as a foreman, and retired in 1979 after 37 years of service. Survivors include two sons, Alex of Tuscon, Ariz, and William idfcFox Lake; two daughters, Alice Kaye of Rock Falls and Dorothy Mentzer of McHenry; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three brothers also sur­ vive, Hank of Arkansas, David of Chicago and Gotlieb of Palatine. Two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., in the K. K. Hamsher funeral home, with interment in Grant cemetery, Ingleside. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. MARIE K. LUESCHEN Marie K. Lueschen, 81, of 1913 N. Rogers avenue, McHenry, died Friday, July 11, at Carestoel Professional Care center. She was born in Creston, Nebr., Nov. 11,1898, the daughter of William and Nora (Thavent) Reineecius. Mrs. Lueschen lived in McHenry 14 years, having come from Barrington. She is survived by her liusband, Edgar H. Lueschen; one son, Edgar Leland Lueschen of Cary a daughter Mrs. Paul (Lucy) Bledsoe of Terre Haute, Ind.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Kate Reineecius of Columbus, Nebr. and Ann Rakow of Martinsburg, -tyebr. Funeral services were Monday, 1 p.m., at the Peter M. Justen k Son funeral home, with Pastor Herman Graef of Zion Lutheran church officiating. Burial was in Windridge cemetery, Cary. ELSA E. VOELTZ A lifelong resident of McHenry, Elsa E. Voeltz, 2402 N. MacArthur drive, McHenry, died Saturday, July 12, at the Valley Hi Nursing home in Hartland. She was 87 years old, born in McHenry Feb. 5, 1893, to Henry and Wilhelmina (Pomrening) Block. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Voeltz, May 26, 1955 and a son, Howard Voeltz, Jan. 13, 1977. Survivors include . a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Lois) Heideman of Reading, Mass.; five grandchildren and a brother, Louis Block of McCullom Lake. Services were conducted Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home, with Pastor Herman Graef officiating, and interment was in Woodland cemetery, McHenry. Memorials are requested to the Zion Lutheran church, McHenry. Brown, president of the First National bank of Woodstock, will head the 1981 fund raising campaign for the United Way of McHenry County, an­ nounced Frank Greenwald,' president of that organization.
