Barb's mother Betty Baier from Haines City, Fla., came to visit her family. It was Barb's birthday, Sept. 26, and Betty's, Sept. 27, so there was a double celebration for them on the twenty-sixth. Ed took Barb to see Barry Manilow on the twenty-seventh, so grandma stayed home with Brian and Jamie. The children enjoyed having their grandmother all to themselves that evening and really hated to see the time come when she had to go home. PARTY TIME It was a busy week recently at the Prazak home when Ken and Heather had their birthdays one day apart. Heather was 5 years old Sept. 30 and she celebrated at a local ham burger spot on Sunday, Sept. 28. Her sisters Tracy and Nicolle along with friends Kelly and Michael Boyle, Tabitha Kenny, Brian Smith, Paula Hough and Kathy Dowell were on hand to wish her well. One of her favorite gifts was a siren for her bike that drives all the neighbors nuts. Ken turned ? on Oct. 1 and wife Sue gave him a small surprise party Saturday, Oct. 4. What a pleasant surprise when he came home from work early and found his neighbors waiting for him. 385-7246 GET-WELL WISHES Our former columnist, Sharon Gacek, was in the hospital last week with viral pneumonia. What a sneaky way to get a vacation. We send her our wishes for a very speedy recovery. WISCONSIN TRIP Bruce and Sue Warren took their children, Joel, Julie and Emily, to Crivitz, Wis., for four days the end of September. The purpose of the trip was to do some bow hunting but they came home empty handed. All the autumn colors were in full bloom up there and the scenery was breathtaking. While there they were joined by Sue's brother, Tom Weidert, and his wife, Mary, from Burlington, Wis., and Mike and Bonnie Weidert with their children Amy and Aubrey from New London, Wis. Joel and Julie had their eleventh birthday Sept. 27 so everyone went out to dinner that night to celebrate. BIRTHDAY GIRL It was Angie Larson's sixth birthday Sept. 26 and she was treated to a lun cheon Saturday, Sept. 27. Her mother, Debbie, took her sisters, Kimberly and Stephanie, along with friends, Becky Cross, Toni Gacek, Carrie Godt, Jen nifer Maliszewski, Trisha Schuerr, Alaina Storlie, Jack Larson and John Geroghy out for hamburgers and birthday cake.
