FRONT ST.; McHENRY la mi Dear Colleen: Dear Colleen: I am 17 years old and seriously considering suicide. It seems like everything has gone wrong for the last three years. Three years ago my parents were divorced and since then my life has just been down hill. My parents don't care about me -- nobody does. Last month my boyfriend broke up with me to go with what I thought was my best friend. I figure no one would miss me so why go on. Nothing seems to work for me no matter what I do. I know most people who write you have a question, but I'm not writing to get an answer for anything because I know the answer to my problem is me. But I haven't talked to anyone about this (there is no one to talk to) and thought I'd write to you. Thank you for listening. Down Hill Dear Down Hill Perhaps you don't expect a reply, but I'd like to give you one anyway. There are, I am sure, many people who care about you and would be deeply hurt if you took your life. But you shouldn't harm yourself to get back or get even with anyone else. Talk to your parents about your feelings. Tell them every thing. Maybe they have been upset with their divorce and haven't been thinking straight. By Sarah Here are more recipes for the delicious apple. They do care about you and they need you. Get your parents to talk to you about their div orce so you can understand bet ter. As for your boyfriend and best friend -- this has nothing to do with things not working for you. This happens to many people all the time. It hurts, but you can get over it. Make new friends and who knows, you may meet someone that will make you forget you ever had a boyfriend before. But you will never know if you aren't around to find out.
