New Business-New Mixer Heads Council Mayor Joseph Stanek, left, is shown with Sundae Morrison, Miss Congeniality in the Miss McHenry contest; John Huemann, Chamber of Commerce president; and Jeff Clunk, owner of Night Moves Water Beds at the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new business. The grand opening of Night Moves Water Beds marks the beginning of another new McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce innovation - the Chamber Mixer. In cooperation with the owner of Night Moves Water Beds, Jeff Clunk, the Chamber sent invitations to all members to toast the success of this new business in McHenry, and become familiar with the unusual products he has to offer. Blending business with pleasure, the guests are treated not only to cham pagne and hors d'oeuvres in the Chamber mixer, but also to information for their benefit or just to know and experience what is new in town or what is new in another industry. Since it was Clunk's first concern to join the Chamber as soon as he signed his lease on his location, it was fitting that this was the location of the first Chamber Mixer. This concept is available to any Chamber member, not just a new business. It is an excellent way to acquaint fellow members with ser vices and-or products available.
