The 6*8" junior, a 1978 graduate of McHenry High School, had an active hand in the 3-3 record compiled by MacMurray through early december. In the first six games, Mayer has 12 of 28 from the field and added four free throws for a total of 28 points. He also has pulled down 21 rebounds. "He's also a good leaper and has a nice touch with his shot."
