In reference to the raise in prices by the Chicago Cleaners-- Their over- head and operating expenses have advanced more than ours. In reference to their agents--in this territory, consisting of the tailors and laundries--We cannot be responsible for their being compelled to raise. We do our own work, own and operate our own plant and therefore are in a position to do business at smaller cost. We are not "Middle Men". To make it short, we do not relish the plan of being dictated to as to what we should or should not do without having been or consulted. We are Members of the National Cleaners and Dyers Association and as yet have not been advised as to any raise in prices by that organization. We are making a fair margin of profit and do not care to gouge our cust- omers with a PATRIOTISM PLEA and the FACT THAT PRICES HAVE RAISED IN OTHER LINES. 2% "Our name is Our Telephone" Wilmette 619 Winnetka 619 Evanston 619 7, fs mot oe
