At 11 o'clock in the morning and 2 and 3:30 in the afternoon at the Byron C. Stolp school the dolls of the well known story from the pen of Frances Hodgson Burnett will come to life for the joy of the youngsters and their grown up friends. Among the alumnae and friends of the college working with Mrs. Robert Stoddard and Mrs. Jercy Arden in presenting this play to Wilmette are: Miss Clementine Fastman, Mrs. Florence Billow, Mrs. R. E. Pattison Kline, Mrs. S. J. Newey, Mrs. H. J. Leach, Mrs. C. P. Dubbs, Mrs. L. M. Cozzens, Mrs. Daniel R. Brower, Mrs. H. W. Mons, Mrs. E. J. Phillins. Mrs. G. S. Cluett, Mrs. J. J. Mills, Mrs. W. D. Lawrence, Mrs. W. J. King, Mrs. Frank Nason, Mrs. William M. Burns, and Mrs. Charles I.. Wachs. Ors The Arden Shore hoard party for the graduate boys was held at Gads Hill center, 1919 West Cullerton street, Wed- nesday evening, March 18. The Com- mittee in charge included Mrs. Marcus D. Richards of Hubbard Woods, Mrs. William E. Casselberry of Chicago and Lake Forest, and Miss Gladys Spry of Evanston. Supper was served, and an entertainment was given in the evening. This party is an annual event and is given by the board of directors of the Arden Shore association to the boys who have graduated from the winter camp. ---- The annual bridge party for the peneht ofthe Dr. ]. W. F. Davies camp fund will be given April 14, at the Winnetka Woman's club at 2 o'clock. In years past a reading has been given for the same purpose at the Winnetka Woman's club, but this season a departure will be made and while the bridge party is being held, Mrs. Ayres Boal will open her home at 701 Sheridan road for a reading by Miss Alice Gerstenberg. Oe Mrs. Alfred R. Bates, 617 Noyes street, Evanston, will entertain the north shore alumnae of the National Kindergarten and Elementary college at its regular meeting on Monday afternoon, March 23, at 4 o'clock. Miss Edna Dean Baker, president of the college, will be the guest of hon- or. SL The two older classes of the Bour- nique dancing school combined their hours Wednesday afternoon to hold a delightful masquerade at the Woman's club. One of the features was a cotillion which gave the youngsters great joy. The costumes were beau- tiful. --O Mrs. John L. Senior of 678 Sheridan road entertained at her home Friday evening in honor of Miss Mabel V. Holgate, the new superintendent of the Christ Church Sunday school. Her guests were the members of the ves- try and their wives, and the teachers of the church school. LO Miss Elizabeth Boyden arrived Fri- day from the Ethel Walker school, and brought with her as her house- guest, Miss Janet Chase, Mrs. Preston Boyden's sister. They will spend the spring recess with Miss Boyden's father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wil- liam C. Boyden of 725 Pine street. --Q-- Mrs. Ernst von Ammon will be hostess at a small dinner at her home, 420 Elder lane, before one of the North Shore Theatre Guild's Win- netka performances of "Outward Bound." -- Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Bartlett, 821 Foxdale avenue, have returned from the East. They attended the inaugura- tion in Washington, then went on to Atlantic City, where they spent the week end. On their way home they stopped at Baltimore and Boston. r--O Winnetka Chapter, No. 942, O. E. S. will give a food sale, Saturday, March 21, from 2 until 5 o'clock, in the Community Pharmacy, 750 Elm street, Winnetka. Fresh eggs, salads, cakes, and other foods will be on sale at moderate prices. Dr. M. I. Schmitz of 500 Greenleaf avenue, Glencoe, has moved into his new home Euclid avenue. He has leased his house to Ernest Reichmann of Winnetka for a number of years. Eck- hart of Kenilworth. Oh High school pupils of the North Shore Country Day school are making plans for a coming production, "Gondoliers," an old comic opera.
