Be- ginners and children will be given the opportunity to learn the etiquette of the fox hunt when the Onwentsia club inaugurates its bi-weekly pony drags early in September. These events will be conducted in the same manner as the regular hunts, with the exception that the jumps will be low, the pace easy, and the course shorter. The pony drag also will permit one to school a "green" or timid horse. Austin H. They will be guests at Sted's hotel, Estes Park, for some time, returning to the village the middle of September, when Miss Drury will soon leave for her home in England. --C Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marshall of Arbor Vitae road left Saturday, Au- gust 22, for Los Angeles. Mr. Mar- shall will return in 10 days, but Mrs. Marshall will remain longer as the guests of her parents in Los Angeles. Upon their return, they will occupy their new home at 847 Grove street, Glencoe, which they have purchased. ---- Miss Mildred Howe, 555 Walnut ave- nue, entertained at a shower Tuesday in honor of Mrs. Ralph Foley of Ev- anston, which was followed by eight tables of bridge. Bartlett and their family, 821 Foxdale avenue, re- turned Monday from a stay at Estes Park, Col, where they spent their va- cation at the Horseshoe inn. Mrs. Bart- lett and the children left Wednesday for White lake, Mich., where they will remain until the opening of school.
