Instructions from the guardian were to the effect that they should follow a carefully pre- pared trail made by two members who had disappeared with the supper. Fager to start and anxious to re- trive the lost dinner, the girls dashed out any door happening to be near them. A cry of delight caused the crew to turn toward one of the mem- bers who had found a slip of paper, with an arrow scribbed on it, tacked to a tree. Following the direction of the arrow, the girls stumbled upon more and more arrows until they were quite surprised to find themselves at the beach. With renewed efforts and heightened spirits, the hungry Camp Fire maidens rushed upon two girls seated beside the familiar supper bas- ket. But the food reconciled all; once more amicably joined, the girls wasted no time in going wading and teasing each other. Fearful of the results, the guardian persuaded them to eat. An inspirational talk by the guar- dian followed the supper and after officers for the coming year had been elected the party broke up; each girl-- homeward bound. The following officers were elected: president, Mildred Martin; secretary, Peggy Hubsch; treasurer, Elizabeth Dunlap; publicity manager, Virginia Schlacks.
