Adopted only after exhaustive tests for efficiency in the Marmon ex- perimental laboratories, the three im- provements contribute additional un- told power to the Marmon engine, long life to the Marmon chassis and raise to a new high standard of efficiency the performance of the car as a unit. A representative line of cars in which the improvements have been incorpo- rated, are on view this week in the showrooms of the Marmon North Shore Sales and Service, local Marmon dealer, at 1008 Davis street, Evanston. The improvements include: Double fire ignition; Three way oil purifier, exclusively Marmon; Self-lubricator. The improvements are incorporated in the standard Marmon chassis of 136-inch wheelbase, upon which Mar- mon has concéntrated for years. _ Additions to its line of body styles, including a Coupe for two-passengers, a two-passenger Speedster, with a rumble seat in the rear deck for two extra passengers, and a Victoria for [four passengers, which was announced | recently, also are announced by Mar- {mon. The new body styles are pre- | sented in a variety of color combina- tions and continue the essential ele- ments of design which characterize other body styles of the Marmon Series 74 line. The new body styles are offered at exactly the same price as the Marmon line of open cars. Rapid Transit Puts on North shore commuters who pa- tronize the Chicago Rapid Transit company lines will be interested to learn that 55 of the 100 new cars re- cently ordered by the company have been delivered and placed in service on various "I" lines over the city. The balance of these latest type cars will be delivered at the rate of about 10 a week until the order has been com- pleted. The cars incorporate the most modern devices which inventive genius has perfected for comfort of passen- gers and increased safety of operation, it is said. Plush seats, steel-protected wooden floors of double thickness, window-shades, emergency lighting fixtures, electric fans, longitudinally rigid handstraps and theromostatical- ly controlled electric heating apparatus are some of the improvements making these cars the last word in modern rapid transit equipment. | MAN'S MILK.
