October 17, 1925 WINNETKA TALK 13 Important cAnnouncement to PACKARD'S CLIENTELE THE GROWTH OF PACKARD business on the North Shore has been so rapid that for the third time within eighteen months we are compelled to move into larger quarters. Less than eight months ago we moved into our new Sales and Service build- ing at Railroad Avenue and Clark Street, Evanston, and in this short time Packard business has grown so re- markably that it has already outgrown this new building. We are starting at once to double the size of this build- ing and it is necessary that we vacate the premises during the time of re- construction. For this period, however, we will occupy the garage next door south on Railroad Avenue and here we will render temporary service. We will of course be cramped and may have to ask our owners to depend on our main Service Station at 37th Street and Princeton Avenue, Chicago, for major repairs, but we hope you will be patient with us for we will soon put at your service the finest automotive headquarters on the North Shore-- built by Packard for Packard owners. We will move back into our own building--doubled in size--about January 1st, 1926. PACKARD FROM RIDGE AVENUE --- If southbound, turn left at the viaduct and down Railroad Avenue to Packard. If northbound. turn east at Church Street, under viaduct, and north to plant. FROM FOUNTAIN SQUARE, EVANSTON -- Proceed north on Chicago Avenue to Church Street, west on Church to Railroad Avenue. and then north to the new Packard plant.
