10 WINNETKA TALK October 24, 1925 Students Mourn Death of Former Schoolmate Beautiful and impressive funeral services for Mamie Franco, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Franco, 480 Rosewood avenue, were held at the home Wednesday after- noon of last week The girl died from injuries received the previous Satur- day night in an automobile accident in Wilmette. The services were conducted by the Rev. James Austin Richards of the Winnetka Congregational church. The pall bearers were Roy Fox, Ferrar Luensman, Adam Scott, John Bell, Phillip Blazer and Vernon Eckart. Miss Franco had been a student at New Trier High school, and many beautiful flowers were sent to the home as an expression of sympathy from her schoolmates, many of whom attended the services. The Lurial was at Memorial Park. A. Franco, the father, expressed his gratitude for the many tokens of sympathy which were received by him. His other daugh- ter, Edna, who was also injured in the accident, is convalescing at the Ev- anston hospital. WILLIAM ECKHART WEDS On Wednesday, October 14, William G. Eckhart of Winnetka was married to Caroline Ellerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ellerman of Sayner, Wis. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Waters of Mondovi, Wis,, at the summer resort of Ole Rismond at Star Lake, Wis. About 75 guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Eck- hart are making their home at 733 Elm street. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall E. Schoen- thaler of 20 Indian Hill road left Win- netka Wednesday. After stopping at the Ambassador hotel in Chicago for a week or ten days, they will motor to Florida, where they will reside.
