[Een -- Al h 3 November 21, 1925 WINNETKA TALK C. J. Eastman Joins Radio Dramatic Cast; Well Known Amateur Charles J. Eastman, well known Winnetkan, and active in the ranks of both the North Shore Theatre Guild and the Community Drama club, ap- peared in a production given Wednes- day of this week over WMAQ, Chi- cago Daily News radio station, by the WMAQ Players. The WMAQ players under the di- rection of William Ziegler Nourse presented the first act and scene one of the second act of "Kempy," by El- liott Nugent. This was the first 'radio presentation of this comedy, that be- came popular in Chicago some years ago, and was made possible only through the courtesy of Mr. Nugent, who is now in New York playing in "The Poor Nut," another of his own pieces. On this, the eleventh night the Players broadcast this season, they again presented Helen Shanahan Kiley, who has not been with them since last spring, and introduced Mr. Eastman and Jessica Calhoun Swartz who made their debuts with the Players Wednés- day.
