-- November 21, 1925 WINNETKA TALK nN wn Chicago Forum to Hear Glenn Frank at Next Program | Glenn Frank, president of the Uni- versity of Wisconsin, one of 'the youngest executives in the United States, will address the Chicago Forum in the Apollo theatre, Chicago, Sun- day afternoon, November 22. The hour is 3 o'clock. President Frank's sub- ject will be, "The Outlook for Western Civilization." The new president of the University of Wisconsin has become one of the outstanding figures in American life. He assumes his new task of large res- ponsibilities after a brilliant career as editor of the Century magazine which he made notable as a vehicle for force- ful, constructive thinking on the prob- lems of our western civilization. His incisive, epigrammatic style in writing features also his public speaking. This will be one of the his first addresses outside of Wisconsin since assuming the presidency of the university. Perhaps it may be his inauguration as one of the real prophets of the Middle West, the heart of America. Several north shore leaders are among the directors of the Chicago Forum which started November 1 its presentation of various nationally known leaders in discussions of im- portant questions of the day.
