On Wednesday night, November 24, a "tour" of the entire school was made. Nothing was taken nor was any dam- age done. On Tuesday, November 30, the school was again visited with the same result. On the following night, however, the presence of prowlers was discovered by the Kenilworth police and, as they made off, were fired upon but were able to escape in the dark- ness. The reason for these consistent visits has mystified the police as noth- ing of value is ever kept at the school other than the regular school equip- ment, and none of this was molested. It is now pre- paring for production at the Girls' club bazaar, this Saturday, the one-act comedy, "The Ghost Story," by Booth Tarkington. This play, which shows the difficulty that an extremely bashful young man has proposing to a singularly unco- operative young maiden, is to be given twice at the bazaar. At 3:30 p. m. those who are attending the bazaar in the Mess hall of the high school can step into the auditorium and witness a performance of "The Ghost Story." Another performance will be given at 8 p. m. so that those who are patron- izing the bazaar in the evening will also have a chance to see this very amusing play. : Those taking part in "The Ghost Story" are Virginia Bradford, John ,11iff, Janet Hughes, Catherine Bur- roughs, Inez Webster, Virginia Har- vey, George Cogswell, Leon Dickinson, Jack Clarke. The director is Gordon Van Kirk. At the afternoon performance a trio composed of Florence Biesemeier, Alex Magnus, and Jane Young will furnish the music. Evanston Champs Swamp New Trier Grid Entry The New Trier football team suffered defeat at the hands of the fast Evans- ton High eleven on Thanksgiving day before the largest crowd of the prep season, to the tune of 32-0. The game was especially featured by the brilliant work of Holland and Levison, who al- ternated as quarterback for Evanston and by the fact that it was played on a muddy field. The New Trier team put up a splendid fight, nevertheless, even more so than is indicated by the score, but were simply overwhelmed by the speed and stellar playing of the Evanston eleven.
