Mrs. Weston is at the head of the Miessner work in all of the north shore towns, having recently given several splendid recitals in Wilmette and Ken- ilworth. Miss Philleo is widely known as the composer of "Out Where the West Begins" and a special feature of this program will be the singing of a group of her songs by Edward Davies, accompanied by the composer. Seventy-five children will take part in the affair, playing in groups and demonstrating the principles of melody, harmony, and rhythm which have won for the Miessner method so high a standard in many of the best schools of the country. All who are interested in fostering the love of music in the home and in the school are cordially invited to attend the recital and listen, along with the parents and friends of the young players.
