wl 2 WINNETKA TALK January 8, 1927 Triangle Members to Give Balloon Dance Jan. 22 An announcement comes from the Triangle club of Winnetka, that the young people in the village are to have a great time, for the going to hold a balloon dance Sat- urday, January 22, at the Community House. Hal Reeder's seven piece or- chestra, the "Iowans," will provide the music for the dance. Members of the Triangle club are emphasizing the fact that this club is interested in three things as an or- ganization; the promotion of ama- club is teur athletics, wholesome social ac- tivities and aid for those who are in need. The club membership now con- sists of fifteen honorary members, and twenty active members. The notice is hereby given by the club that all young fellows in Win- netka who are interested in the aims of the club, are invited 'to signify their interest in becoming members, which will entitle them to the privi- leges of the club, and is sure to give them a good time. Stanley Miller of Winnetka, was elected to membership Monday eve- ning January J. Mrs. James Austin Richards left Thursday for a three weeks visit on the western coast, going first to Bell- ingham, Washington and later will visit at points in Oregon. ---- The Walden Road Neighborhood club was entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Emil Olson at bridge Wednesday eve- ning at their home, 1000 Vine street. ---- Mr. and Mrs. H. A. deWindt of 205 Chestnut street, and Mrs. deWindt's father, J. H. Arnold, left Saturday, January 8, for Biloxi, Miss., where they will spend five or six weeks. Hoops and family are now settled in their new home, recently completed at 1011 Ash street. Mr. Hoops is associated with the Insurance Company of North America and has only recently moved from Columbus, Ohio.
