Hibbard Honored by Tablet in Hibbard School The tablet given by the Hibbard fam- ily of Winnetka, in memory of Wil- liam Gold Hibbard, was unveiled and dedicated at an impressive ceremony William Gold Hibbard IV unveiled | the tablet, while William Gold Hibbard III of 942 Pine street, Winnetka, pre- sented the tablet to the Public School Art society. Mrs. Augustus Carpenter accepted the tablet in the name of the society, and William McAndrew, superintendent of schools in Chicago, accepted it for the Chicago schools. Rev. Charles P. Anderson gave an| address on William Gold Hibbard as | he had known him. Mr. Hibbard was | one of Chicago's pioneers, who did | much for schools and art in the city. | Representing the Hibbard school in | the ceremonies, was James T. Gaffney, principal of the school, who was chair- man of the program. The high school Choral club and the school orchestra furnished a program of musical num- bers. The tablet was the work of Arthur Heun, architect, and Emil Zettler, sculptor. MARRIED IN FLCRIDA Friends of Albert G.
