Acts as a regular tonic. My grove has good crop this year. Glad I bought it. Mrs. Life has sure got the Florida "bug" for fair, as they call it here. Says she would like a home here, especially during winter, but thinks the Holly Hill Inn cannot be beat for real hospitality and homey atmosphere. Agree with her. The lure of the golf course gets me every morning. Don't feel I have lived the day right unless I have at least one round. George and C. F. are always ready, too. The more I play this course, the better I like it. They say its one of the most beau- tiful in the state and as sporty as can be found. Think so, too. While I golf, Mrs. Life and George's wife shuffleboard. Jan. 10. Jan.11. Made up party for visit to Davenport poul- try ranch. They have 110 acres and a gorgeous collection of sub-tropical shrubs, palms, plants, trees. The ornamentals were beautiful. Learned they raise the Australian silk oak planted so extensively here from Il the seed in the nursery. Saw thousands of them.
