Rockwell of 277 Chestnut street, will leave next week to visit her mother, Mrs. S. P. Shayne of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Is This a True Story in Your Life, Too! NCE a week do you experience Wash- day and all it symobolizes--a steamy house, the worries of supervision, an aching head and reddened hands? Do you deny your- self 52 precious days a year because the wash- ing must be done and the family must have clean clothes? If so, you are doing it needlessly. For it only takes a few words on the telephone or to Bill the Washington Laundry Man, to remove Washday from your mind---your calendar-- and your home. Just give the weekly bundle to Bill, and he will see that everything is washed sweetly clean, that everything is ironed or anything, as you desire, and is returned promptly. And above all he will give you "A NEW DAY" a week for yourself. Refinements in engineering and man- ufacturing which the motoring public has come to expect from Chrysler were shown for the first time by this manu- facturer. One of the most sensational of these novelities was the Chrysler Imperial "80" Sportiff Phaeton. It is unusually striking in its color combination of black and Burmese blue, with striping of Italian cream. Upholstery is of dark blue, hand-buffed Spanish leather. Six black wire wheels, with nickeled rims, with the two spare tires mounted in wells in the front fenders, are standard equipment. The top is of the disap- pearing skeleton type, so constructed that it can be folded back and booted in conventional manner, or stowed, completely away in a compartment back of the front seat. On the "70" chassis two new body types were also presented--the new four-passenger coupe; and the carbio- let. Both of these are entirely new body styles in their price field. Probably no single body type at- tracted such attention among the lower priced sixes as did the new Chrysler "60" two-passenger coupe, with rumble seat, which also made its debut at this show. This car is in Wills green, with flamingo carmine striping, upholstered in mouse gray mohair, and leather rumble seats to match the body colors. almost eclipsed by the sensational new treatment of body styles and coloring,' They're Here!
