January 29, 1927 WINNETKA: TALK Dundee Road Acres Sold to Syndicate to Be Subdivided Quinlan & Tyson, Inc., announce the sale from the George Noble estate of the Noble farm on Dundee road and the new Skokie line, to R. E. Read taking title for an eastern syndicate, to be subdivided immediately. The farm consists of 75 acres and has been in the possession of the Noble family for 60 years. The sellers are the widow, Ellen Noble, daughter, | Margaret Noble, and three sons, Ralph, | Walter and William Noble. Lewis T.| Dodds, manager of the North Shore | department of Quinlan & Tyson, Inc. | was the only broker in the deal. Charles T. and Mabel T. Ripley and | P. G. and Barbara S. Beach sold to Harry A. Peters the vacant property 100x138 on the south side of Central | street, 159 feet west of Asbury avenue, | Evanston. The property adjoins the rear of the National Kindergarten col- lege dormitory. P. G. Beach of the Evanston office of Quinlan & Tyson, [nc.,, and Ernest M. Kimball, were the brokers. | Harriet F. and Edwin F. Walker sold to William L. and Edith R. Mc- Kay the seven-room stucco home at 2333 Lincoln street on a lot 100x190. | O. H. Armstrong of the Evanston of- fice of Quinlan & Tyson, Inc., was the broker. Major J. D. Austin Opens Hubbard Woods Offices Major John D. Austin, of Glencoe, opened a new real estate office at 899 Linden avenue, just north of Tower road, Hubbard Woods, this weck, where he will conduct a general real estate business, handling both vacant and mmproved property from Kenil- worth to Highland Park, inclusive. Major Austin has been associated with the Glencoe office of McGuire & Orr for the past two and one-half vears, and is thoroughly familiar with north shore values of every descrip- tion. Mrs. Roberta T. Moody of Glencoe will assist Major Austin in his new office. | James T. Wray of Wilmette has sold to Walter G. Blake and Bertha T. Blake the three stores at 2543-7 Prairie avenue, Evanston, Hokanson and Jenks, Inc., were the brokers repre- senting all parties.
