Phone Winn. 2103 Make Final Plans for Own Your Home Expo Open April 2 Final preparations were underway this week for Chicago's seventh an- nual "Own Your Home Building and Equipment" exposition, which opens in the Coliseum, April 2. Already a car- load of national building material ex- hibits is on hand waiting to be un- loaded. People in the greater Chicago area are promised the most educational ex- position of its kind ever held. Every type of house construction, together with the planning, selection of the homesite, financing, building, decorat- ing, furnishing and landscaping of the home, will be shown. The feature of the Exposition is the "Court of Homes," surrounding a gar- den. Houses of brick, stucco, frame, concrete and faced concrete units will be shown. The front elevations will be | finished but the interior will be a cross section appearing like a gigantic knife had cut through them to show how walls, floors, roofs and structural work should be done. The Exposition is conducted under the auspices of the Chicago Real Es- tate board. The "Committee of Ad- ministration" appointed by the board for the supervision of the exposition in- cludes Harry W.
