Johnston and company, Wil- mette realty brokers, announce the sale of the 9-room white colonial resi- dence at 1216 Ashland avenue, from R. B. McCune to I. A. Bower. The same firm has also sold for R. P. Engel the six-room and two-bath brick bungalow at 106 Fourth street to Robert F. Prochnow of Chicago. William R. Sachse of the ing firm of Lord Thomas and Logan has purchased the six-room residence at 720 Isabella street, Evanston, from John E. Flavin. Robert F. Lehman of the Liberty Mutual Insurance company has bought the Lewis S. Young brick bungalow at 215 Golf Terrace through the same agents. R. M. Johnston and company also sold the 8-room stucco residence at 723 Ashland avenue for Mrs. Emma F. Clasgens to Thomas H. West of Wilmette. Orville White of Lansing, Mich., has leased through R. M. Johnston and company the 9-room residence at 801 Linden avenue, owned by Mrs. R. R. Jailey. The same firm has rented for a two- vear term the 6-room Dutch Colonial home belonging to Helen B. Allen, 1321 Hill street, to A. R. Breen, of the Universal Winding company of Chicago; also the Dolmage residence at 109 Fourth street to O. A. Reed of Wilmette. Frank Kutten Family in New Chestnut Ave. Home Frank Kutten and family of Evans- ton, occupied their new residence this week, at the southwest corner of Chest- nut avenue and Eleventh street, which has just been completed by R. A. Crosby, north shore builder with of- fices at 566 Center street, Winnetka. This is one of the many pretty resi- dences which have been erected in this section of Wilmette during the past year. It is located on one of the most desirable corners on Chestnut avenue, having a frontage of 100 feet on Chestnut, and extending back 200 feet on Eleventh street, and is wooded.
