Legionnaires Choose "Prize Peach," Best Dancers, at Frolic Miss Marian Cook, of 1017 Green- leaf avenue, Wilmette, was the for- tunate young woman to be selected by the judges as the "Legion Peach," or most beautiful girl present, at the "Le- gion Frolic," held Monday evening at the Winnetka Woman's club, under the auspices of the Winnetka Legion Post. There were about 230 legion- naires and their friends present, and all were agreed that it was a most enjoyable affair. The orchestra, with Wally Dehm- low and Ray Loco doing their "stuff" on the baby grands, went over big. The dance contest proved a very in- teresting feature, with keen rivalry among the contenders. Paul Runnfeldt, of 1037 Spruce street, Winnetka, and Miss Lillian Beaver, of Chicago, were the choice of the judges as the best dancing couple, with Russell Bartz and Mrs. Bartz, of 437 Chestnut street, Win- netka, a close second. Commander Frank W. Blatchford, in behalf of Winnetka Post Number 10, presented the winners of the "Peach" and dance contests with verv beautiful prizes. George Matteoni, in charge of re- freshments, reported a rushing busi- ness in hot-dogs and cold drinks.
