Revise Proceedings for Locust Road Improvement The board of local improvements Tuesday evening voted to revise the proceedings relative to the improve- ment of Locust road from Pine street to Westmoor road by instructing the Village engineer to prepare a new estimate for a bituminous macadam pavement instead of concrete, with adequate drainage, and to make pos- sible the closing up of the ditches. It is expected this second estimate will be received by the board at its next meeting and a date set at that time for a public hearing. Andrews of Evanston, is a member of the Chicago Art Theater group of players appear- ing to Evanston and north shore au- diences during Wednesdays of July and August at the Moraine hotel, Highland Park.
