Among the' librettos recently added to the library shelves are old fa- vorities such as "Pagliacci" and "Madam Butterfly," as well as a num- ber of less familiar ones such as "La Juive" and "Madam Sans Gene." It is hoped that this collection of librettos is only a beginning--a nucleus of what may become a Music depart- ment in the library, and that it will increase yearly to keep pace with the ever-growing interest in music shown by the people of Winnetka. Weekly programs of the Ravinia con- certs and operas will be found for dis- tribution at the public library. Miss Dorothy Dickinson, daughter of the Frederick Dickinsons of 1228 Scott avenue, has returned to Winnetka from Smith college.
