WINNETKA 265 Service Satisfaction RADIATOR CABINETS Scout Leaders Arrange Fall "Training Stampede" The committee on leadership per- sonnel and training of the North Shore Area Boy Scout council an- nounces that a "Training Stampede" covering eight sessions will be held early this fall for the benefit of pres- ent and prospective leaders of Boy Scout troops. A special section of each evening's program will be for the benefit of fathers of Scouts who may not plan to become Scout leaders but who desire to better understand the plans and purposes of the Boy Scout work, and the nature and needs of boys. CARS CRASH Cars driven by Milton J. Klee of 1045 Meadow road, Glencoe, and Sanborn Hale, cashier of the Winnetka State bank, collided at the Lincoln and Elm street intersection last Sunday evening. The Hale car was considerably dam- aged. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. M. Miller of 936 Elm street returned Saturday from a long trip to Detroit, London and Hamil- ton, Canada, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, New York City, Boston, At- lantic City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Richmond, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, the Allegheny mountains, Louisville, and Indianapolis. --p-- Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Zimmerman and their children, Billy and Jeanne, of 337 Sheridan road, left August 19, to spend about a week at the North Woods club, near Marquette, Mich. --Q-- Mr. and Mrs. Francis E. Hinkley and their daughter, Dorothea, of 1204 Scott avenue, have returned to Win- netka from a three weeks' visit at Black Hawk lake, Land O' Lakes, Wis. Indian Hill Area Residents to Get Own Coach Service Bills Realty, Inc., have just pur- chased a 15-passenger Studebaker parlor coach which will be used ex- clusively for the transportation of In- dian Hill residents to trains, schools and churches in Wilmette, Indian Hill, Winnetka and Kenilworth. This coach is to run on schedule time be- ginning October 1--the trip from In- dian Hill Estates to the North West- ern and North Shore stations being made in four minutes--it will likewise take the children of Indian Hill resi- dents to the Howard school in Wil- mette and to private schools of Royce- more and the National Kindergarten college, and to the Country Day school in Winnetka. In addition to meeting all trains, it will make scheduled shop- ping tours to all north shore suburbs. TO LEAVE KENILWORTH Kenilworth. will be sorry to say goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Irving B. Babcock and their children, of 229 Essex road, when they leave here in a few weeks to make their home in Detroit. Mrs. Babcock returned re- cently from Detroit, where she was staying with her sister, Mrs. Salis- bury, while she was looking for a home in that city. When she returned to Kenilworth she brought with her her children who had been staying in Detroit for some time. The Chicago Woman's club com- mittee on prohibition law enforcement gave a luncheon last Saturday in honor of Senator Robert I. Owen.
