C's 6 fo 2. This was the third and final game of the series. Fach of the teams had previously won a game, the score in each instance being 7 to 0. 3oesch pitched an excellent game for the winning team and was given faultless support. Halpin, who was in the box for Glencoe, also pitched a good game, but errors by his mates were respon- sible for the loss of the much coveted game. Glencoe C. C's will play Winnetka at Glencoe this Sunday, which will formally terminate the season for the Glencoe team. Panthers Enjoy Outing at E. E. "Dad" Adams Camp Twenty boys, members of the Pan- thers club, a Community House group of youngsters under the guidance of R. H. Fairclough, enjoyed a trip to Cross lake and Elmer E. "Dad" Adams' summer place there recently. The lads were taken to the resort in one of William Wente's trucks and reveled in a day of swimming, base- ball, and other sports. Fire Chiefs Arm Selves With Fire Prevention Data "Fire Prevention" was one of the foremost subjects of discussion at the annual convention of the Illinois Fire- men's association held at Springfield, September 13 to 15, and which was attended by Chiefs Walter Zibble, of Wilmette and G. M. Houren, of Win- netka. The association heartily endorsed the work of the school on fire pre- vention at the Illinois University, where they are erecting a drill tower to be used in connection with the course which is given free to any fire- man in the state. Representative Henry R. Rath- bone, of Kenilworth, attended the convention where he delivered an ad- dress at one of the sessions. He was extended a hearty welcome by the four hundred members and was fur- ther honored by being elected to honorary membership in the associa- tion. HEAR MILWAUKEE PASTOR Rev. O.
