B® aH I | { { | October 8, 1927 WINNETKA TALK 7 Legion Does Fine Job as Guide on European Touring Letters from Mr. and Mrs. Dudley | Bradstreet, Winnetka Legion visitors in Europe, indicate that the American Legion has done its job well with re- gard to functioning as competitors of Thomas Cook & sons in Europe. Al- though the Bradstreets and the Ryland Walcotts have visited many of the beauty spots of Italy, Switzerland, and England, not prescribed nor arranged for by the Legion, they nevertheless have only favorable comments to make with regard to the manner in which the Legion has functioned in simplify- ing traveling and modifying the ex- pense without detracting from the pleasure of all phases of the trip. The last word from the Bradstreets reports a highly satisfactory crossing from Paris to London by aeroplane and the intention of sailing for home Saturday, October 8, on the S. S. Lan- castria, the same boat that provided them with a delightful crossing the lat- ter part of August.
