Among the prominent people who will be present are: Mrs. J. Ralph Wilbur of Evanston, formerly national grand president of the sorority; Mrs. Carl R. Northbrook Opens New Village Hall at Christmas Time Northbrook, now witnessing the completion of its latest subdivision, a forty-acre tract in the southwesterly section of the village, and which has negotiations well underway for obtain- ing lake water from the new Glencoe pumping plant as soon as it is com- pleted, is also boasting a new Village hall which it will formally dedicate about Christmas time. The new structure is located at the southwest corner of Wolters avenue and First street. The brick work is now underway. It is to be a combined village hall and fire station. The first story is being constructed with a view of adding a second story, when it is required, and Northbrook citizens say they realize that if the village con- tinues to erow at the rate it has been forging ahead the past two years it will not be long. The Village board is the future in its building plans, even beyond the addition of a second story Richard Eberhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L.
