The Golden Text was from C:latians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nev- ertheless I live; yet not I. but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon was the following from the Bible: "And all things are ot God, who hath reconciled ns to hini- self by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation . . . Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God" (II Cor, 5.18, 20). The Lesson-Sermon also included the following passages from tle Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy: "The atonement of Christ reconciles man to God, aot God to man; for the divine Principle of Christ is God, and how can God pro- pitiate Himself? Christ is Truth, which reaches no higher than itself. The fountain can rise no higher than its source" (p. 18).
