Mr. and Mrs. Salvi and their two children occupied their new home recently. Mr. Salvi, a native of Italy, formerly played regularly with the New York Symphony orchestra and has appeared with virtually every symphony orches- tra of consequence in the United States. He is also a composer of note. He has been personally commended by President and Mrs. Coolidge before whom he played some time ago. Be- cause of the great number of concert engagements, Mr. Salvi was forced recently to decline an attractive offer to play with the Chicago Symphony orchestra.
