That is the sermon topic announced by the Rev. James Austin Richards, pastor. At the vesper service at 5 o'clock, the Rev. Thomas A. Goodwin, asso- ciate pastor, will preach on, "The Originality of Jesus." This is the service usually held at 8 o'clock, the change to the earlier hour being made at this time. Inadequately Lighted Car Causes Collision Monday Last Monday evening while David C. McCreight, of 222 Sheridan avenue, Highwood, was driving with only a spotlight turned on, his car collided with a car driven by T. G. Kus of 1158 Hamptondale avenue, Winnetka. The accident occurred at Elm and Center. According to the report of Patrolman Boyd, the fenders on both cars and the front wheels on the McCreight car were damaged. Present Tenth New Trier Xmas Cantata December 18 The tenth annual Christmas cantata of the New Trier Music department will be given December 18 in the New Trier auditorium, at 4 o'clock. The Glee clubs, choruses, and orchestras will combine to give the program. Miss Barbara Waite and Mrs. Ada T. Allen, both voice teachers at New Trier for several years, will be solo- ists. Mrs. Allen is a soprano, and Miss Waite, a contralto. The program will consist of selections from the Messiah, and Christmas music. The, program is open to the public. There is no admis- sion fee.
